Refer a colleague, earn credit

The RafaNest referral program lets you invite another practitioner with a personal link. When a practice you referred pays for a subscription, RafaNest records a 10 percent commission as credit for you. This guide covers where to find your link, what earns credit, what does not, and how to talk to a colleague about it.

How the program works

1. Open Referrals in your clinic admin. Your personal link is shown there, with a button to copy it.
2. Send the link to a colleague who runs their own practice.
3. When they create a clinic through your link, the practice is recorded as one of your referrals.
4. Each time that practice pays a subscription invoice, a commission is recorded for you.

What earns credit

Credit follows real payments. The commission is calculated on every subscription invoice that the referred practice actually pays, at the rate shown next to that referral on your Referrals page, which is 10 percent by default. A practice that stays on the free Starter plan pays no invoice, so it earns you nothing, and a referral marked inactive stops earning.

A practice can be linked to only one referrer, and it cannot be linked to itself. If a colleague signed up before you sent them the link, the link will not attach afterwards.

Where to see the result

The Referrals page lists each practice you referred, the date it joined, its commission rate and whether the referral is active. When commission has been recorded, the page also shows your pending credit total in dollars.

Who to refer

RafaNest is sold to registered practices only, not for personal or family use, and signup asks for a business type and an EIN. That makes it a good fit for colleagues who already run, or are about to open, their own practice. Three groups tend to be most interested.

What to tell them

Be specific and honest, because a colleague who feels oversold will not stay. The Starter plan is free and includes online booking, the AI booking assistant, reminders, encrypted patient records and up to 25 active patients. Professional is $29 a month and adds video visits, SOAP notes, intake forms, card payments, superbills and unlimited patients. Premium is $59 a month. Annual billing is cheaper, and paid plans start with a 14 day trial.

It also helps to be clear that RafaNest is built for independent, mostly cash-pay and out-of-network practices, so a colleague whose work depends on in-network insurance billing should read the comparison first. A referral that fits is worth more than one that churns.

A note on disclosure

Because you earn credit when someone subscribes, say so when you share the link. A short line such as "I get a referral credit if you sign up" keeps the recommendation transparent and is the same courtesy you would want from a colleague.
