Questions before you switch
Can I import my clients and appointments from SimplePractice?
Yes. Your client list and your upcoming appointments come over from a spreadsheet (CSV). Overlaps are flagged instead of double-booked, and patients are not sent a confirmation for visits they already know about.
What does RafaNest cost after the free period?
Starter is free forever. Professional is $29/mo and Premium is $59/mo, about 17% less when billed annually. No contract, and you can change plans or cancel any time.
Do you file insurance claims?
Not yet. RafaNest creates itemized superbills with CPT and ICD-10 codes so your patients can claim out-of-network reimbursement. If you bill insurance panels directly and need electronic claim filing today, SimplePractice is the better fit.
Is RafaNest HIPAA compliant?
Yes. PHI is encrypted at rest, clinical records are append-only and auditable, and the platform runs on AWS under a signed Business Associate Agreement.
Is the setup really free?
